Marble Hill: Exhibition of Hope

Daily: 7am-7:30pm

Marble Hill

Free

Discover uplifting quotes from Charlie Mackesy’s beloved book The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse as you explore the grounds at Marble Hill.

The team at Marble Hill continue to work to ensure that the 66 acres of the park remain open as a place of respite & restoration.

Henrietta Howard, the original owner of Marble Hill House, was a prolific writer and many eminent writers and poets frequented Marble Hill including Alexander Pope and Jonathan Swift.

With the unprecedented events of 2020, we recognise the need for hope more than ever and in conjunction with the author Charlie Mackesy, twelve prints from his book The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse are on display across the park to encourage exploration, reflection and movement. It is our hope this exhibition will offer some words of wisdom and inspiration to uplift you during these challenging times.
