Welcome…

to the Richmond upon Thames Literature Festival.

In 2011 we celebrated our 20th Anniversary,  and what a succesful year it was! A massive thank you to all the superb authors, artists, thinkers and speakers who took part, and of course to all the wonderful audiences, sponsors and supporters who made the festival possible.

Last year’s programme  really did have something for everyone – a major highlight was our fantastic food weekend and Victorian tea Party where foodies indulged in tasting delights in the grounds of 17th century Ham House, the fringe festival Boat Party with Caught by the River and of course, our first ever Literary Salon… The fun extended into Decemeber with the Barnes Literary Trail taking place just before Christmas, with lashings of mulled wine, mince pies and poetic offerings from Charlie Dark, Hannah Walker and Rachel Newsome.

2011 was a very exciting year and we are already looking forward to 2012…Please keep an eye on the website, for upcoming literary events and plans for the this year’s festival, as well as on twitter or Facebook for the odd witty or interesting comment. We always like to hear from you!
